Coptrol is used to treat all types of algae, including cyanobacteria (blue green algae). It is safe to use in drinking water (potable water) and irrigated water. Coptrol is a safe and viable option due to the fact that you can immediately use the treated water for human consumption, stock watering and irrigation after application.

Coptrol works in virtually all kinds of water. Saltwater or freshwater, turbid or clear, Coptrol helps to get rid of algae and prevents any further growth in a way that’s user-friendly and safe for all.

What is Coptrol?
Coptrol is an Australian made commercial-grade algaecide that is highly concentrated and is safe to use and easy to apply, Coptrol does not harm humans, livestock, fish, domestic pets and aquatic plants. When used according to label instructions, Coptrol is a safe and effective method to stop algae growth, including but not limited to, free-floating and filamentous green algae, green slime algae and brown algae.

How long does it take to work?
Coptrol kills algae quickly – usually within just 72 hours. It’s safe to use in all types of water bodies and is easy to use in accordance with label instructions. Coptrol is easily applied by spraying directly onto the body of water that needs treatment.

Is Coptrol safe?
Coptrol is a noncorrosive viscous liquid that will not corrode metal pumps, fountains or irrigation equipment.

Coptrol is APVMA (Australian Pesticides & Veterinary Medicines Authority) approved. Coptrol lets you tackle the problem of algae without having to keep animals and humans away from the treated water after application.

How to Use: When used in accordance with the label directions

Methods of Applying Coptrol: Once diluted, Coptrol can be applied directly from a bucket, watering can, knapsack sprayer, horticulture sprayer, firefighter pump sprayed from the bank, or from boats or aircrafts. 

Coptrol can also be dripped directly into flowing water in high volume treatments such as flood irrigation water.

Coptrol is solely used for the control of algae and does not control aquatic plants. Common aquatic plants often mistaken for algae are Duckweed, Azolla and Salvinia
